Arlene Goldberg passed away in Munster, Indiana on January 17, 2018 due to complications from a stroke.  Arlene, or Ilda, as she was known in her native Argentina, moved to the United States in the late 1950's. She lived in Northwest Indiana until the late 1970’s when she moved to Venice, Florida. She had recently returned to Munster, Indiana. She is preceded in death by her loving husbands Alejandro Gielazyn (1973), Joseph Fagan (1997), and Mortimer Goldberg (2012). She leaves behind her children: Virginia (David) Robertson and Steven (Michel) Gielazyn; grandchildren: Kristen, Eric, Ashley, and Stephanie; and great-grandchildren: Olivia, Lila and Parker. 

There will not be a funeral service.
 
Her family members were always delighted to receive her beautiful hand-knitted sweater and scarves.
Arlene was very kind and generous. She was very quick to make friends and was truly a joy to be around.
She loved her family and the many relatives that live in Argentina.  Loved golf, traveling, music and life itself. She will be sadly missed by all that knew her.
