Beverly Luchene Brinkley (Gramma Bo) passed away at the age of 79 comfortably at home with her family by her side on Wednesday January 10, 2018.  She was born Beverly Sue Luchene, in Hammond, Indiana on July 15, 1938.

She was a graduate of Hammond Morton High School. She was married to Edward Brinkley on July 5, 1958. Together they went on to have four children, ten grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Beverly spent the majority of her life raising and caring for her children and grandchildren. Her most enjoyed activities in life included farming, canning foods, fishing, camping, playing card games and spending time with her beloved family.

Beverly was a resident of Hobart, Indiana.  She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Edward,  children, David (Donna), Mark (Tina), Lynn (Kelly), and Chellie, grandchildren, Amy, Ryan (Hailey), Jonathan, Kier (David), Brooke, Emily, Brett, Eein, Devon, and Shelby, and great grandchildren, McKayla, Payttin, Tenley, Eelayna, and Sullivan.

Beverly was preceded in death by parents Esther and Clarence Luchene, mother-in-law, Martha Turbyfill, and father figure, Robert Butler. Family and friends whose lives Gramma Bo touched are invited to Hillside Funeral Home, 8941 Kleinman Rd., Highland, IN 46322, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, January 12, 2018 to celebrate her life. Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5:30 pm with Pastor Bill Gibbs officiating.
