Carla "Jeannie" Reder

Carla "Jeannie" Reder, 60, of Crown Point, IN, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018.  She is survived by: loving husband of 34 years Dave, devoted daughter Kelly (Brett) McDermott,  caring son Brett Reder, beloved sister  Brenda (John) Crook, dear sisters-in-law Linda (late Jerry) Gaboian, and Carol (Alan) Harris, special brother-in-law late Paul (Patricia) Reder, and numerous additional loving nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents Doc and Betty Dixon, sister and best friend Patti Moor.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN, 46322 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral Service will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Rev. Theodore Mens officiating.

Jeannie was a fun-loving and caring individual that was loved by all she touched. She was a deeply devoted mother and wife to her family and dog, Ryno. She was a lifelong Cubs fan and one of the most positive and enjoyable people to be around. Jeannie was an inspiration to all, and her smile never faded, as she courageously battled Alzheimer's Disease.
