Enriqueta Vega

Enriqueta Vega, 95, of Highland, IN, passed away Friday, February 2, 2018. She is survived by: loving son Ernesto J. (Betzaida) Vega, devoted daughters Loida M. (Robert) Dominguez  Juanita E. (Alex) Sarkisian, and Lourdes (Vidal) Torres. Grandchildren Cristobal, Susanna, Ernesto III, Ileana, Jessica, Christian, Vidal, and Elyse, numerous great-grandchildren, and numerous special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her beloved husband Ernesto Vega Sr., and parents Carlos Leon and Juana Garcia.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN, 46322 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be Friday, February 9, 2018 at Our Lady of Grace Church, 3025 Highway Ave. Highland, IN at 10:30 am with Rev. Edward Moszur officiating. Burial at Concordia Cemetery, Hammond, IN. A Prayer Service will be held Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the funeral home at 3:30 pm.

Enriqueta was a member of Our Lady of Grace Church, Legion of Mary, and Cursillistas. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, ceramics, and reading.
