Jose Antonio Balboa

Jose Antonio Balboa, 89, of Hammond, IN, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018. He is survived by: devoted daughters Rosalinda (William) Simpson, Mary Perez, Gloria (Jesus) Lara, and Bertha (Joshua) Belcher, loving sons Henry Martinez and Antonio (Ismael Avila) Balboa, 24 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and many additional loving family members.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center 8941 Kleinman Rd. (one block south of Ridge Rd.) Highland, IN, 46322 from 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at the funeral home at 7:30 pm.

Jose was retired from Inland Steel. He enjoyed yard work, baseball, cars, and having a beer while cooking out. He was a hard worker who put family first.
