Richard K. Gamez (August 31, 1957 - February 6, 2018)

Rich, unexpectedly, passed away at the age of 61. He was born to Cipriano and Carmen Gamez. He is survived by: nephew Carl (Krystal) Gamez, niece Renee Gamez, eight great nieces and nephews, uncles Jess Gamez and Raymond (Delia) Gamez, aunts M. Christine Gamez, Barbara Negrete, and Maria Negrete. He was preceded in death by: parents Cipriano and Carmen, brother Dwight, nephew Dwight Jr., ten uncles, and five aunts.

He was a beloved cousin to 50 (Gamez family first generation), 7 (Negrete family first generation), and many more in the second, third, and fourth generations. Beloved extended family Dale Inman, daughter Rachel M. Inman, and granddaughter Grace M. Anspach.

After finishing his formal education, he was into accounting and a concierge. He loved to fish, golf, and enjoyed family gatherings. He was a good son who devoted his entire last year as a caregiver to his father who passed away September, 2017.

A Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN, 46322 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family in Richard Gamez's name.
