Edward L. Bailey Sr.

Edward L. Bailey Sr., of Highland, IN, peacefully passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Carolyn, children Kimberly Cruz of Anaheim, CA., Edward (Katie) Jr. of Highland, IN, grandchildren Tiffany (Jonathon) of Silverado, CA, Luis (Naomi) Cruz of La Habra, CA, Briann (Cody) of Chuckey, TN, Bridget (Evan) of Highland, IN, and Payton and Luke Bailey, both of Highland, IN, seven great-grandchildren, sisters Debra (Roger) of East Chicago, IN, Amy Bailey of Highland, IN, Jacqueline Horsley of Griffith, IN, and brother Yale (Judy) of Indianapolis, IN. Preceded in death by son-in-law Luis Cruz, parents Yale & Katherine Bailey, and brother & sister-in-law Harry and Bonnie Bailey.

Ed spent three years in the Armed Forces from June 1962 to August 1965. He worked for Amerigas for 33 years and retired from there in 2004. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. We will miss him everyday for the rest of our lives.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at St. James the Less Catholic Church, 9640 Kennedy Ave., Highland, In, 46322 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am with a Funeral Mass following at 10:30 am.
