Anne-Marie Smith-Gaumer

Anne - Marie Smith-Gaumer, 39, of Highland, IN passed away May 14, 2018.   Annie was the consummate nurse, training in emergency room care with plans to become a nurse practitioner or a CRNA when fate intervened in the form of a back injury and diabetes.  Since one week of age, she loved animals adopting the internet user - name crazy cat lady!  Annie and her brother spent many long hours playing together with their stuffed animals, and live animals.  Annie was also a dedicated computer gamer and loved Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and similar fantasy books and movies.  Annie deeply loved her husband Robb and her daughter Rowan.  She also loved her visits with her "Auntie Ruth".

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN, 46322 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
