    Barbara age 83 of Hammond , passed away surrounded by her loving family.  She was a very special woman sent here to devote her life caring for children. Barbara gave birth to 3 children of her own but opened her heart to so many more, loved and raised them as her own. Barbara favorite saying was " I love you like you were my own."

    She is preceded in death by her parents Marvin and Effie Mann and her siblings, Cordell Mann( Brother), Irene Helms ( Sister), Bobby Mann (Brother), Amy Hadley ( Sister), and Charles Mann ( Brother). Barbara is survived by Ruth Cook ( Sister) and her beloved children Eugene Fields ( Ruth), Dewayne Fields, Anna Reyome (James), Kerry Fields, Connie Thomas (Ray), Tyrone Hawkins, Kelly Salazar (Lupe). Barbara is survived by many grand children, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Barbara lived every day to spoil and love her grandkids they could do no wrong in her eyes. 

    Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 1-4pm, at Hillside Funeral Home 8941 Kleinman Road, Highland IN, 46322. Burial as Barbara always wanted to be with her parents and family, Mann Cemetery, Jamestown Kentucky October 23, 2018.
