Bart Miller

Bart Miller, 55, of St. John, IN, passed away peacefully Friday, May 11, 2018.  He is survived by: loving wife of 18 years Beth, valued sister Debby (Michael) Lowry, much beloved by many nieces and nephews.  Bart was preceded in death by: parents Roy, and Clare Miller.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center 8941 Kleinman Rd. (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN, 46322 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral Service will be Thursday, May 17, 2018, 10:00 am at the Hammond Christian Reformed Church, 1910 167th St., Hammond, IN 46324.

Bart was a member of the Hammond Christian Reformed Church, member of the Millwright Local 1043/1076, and a founding member of the Grumpy Old Men's Club.  Bart was a servant of Jesus who enjoyed serving dinners at the church, he loved his family, was an avid reader, fisherman, he enjoyed sharing his cooking and baking skills, and was a pinata maker extraordinaire.
