Betty Helen Seehausen

Betty Helen Seehausen, 83, of Highland, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2019.  She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Henry; three children, Judith (Steven) Peterson, Janet (Mark) Thompson, and June (Ron) Dukes; nine grandchildren: Tommy, Timmy, & Travis Peterson; Jenny, Erika & Troy Thompson; Alex & Rochelle Gonzalez, and Peyton Dukes; one brother, Robert (Garnet) Erb, and many additional loving family members and friends.  Betty was preceded in death by two children, Thomas & Jill Seehausen, and her granddaughter, Elizabeth Diane Peterson.

Friends are invited to meet with the family from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday, June 28, 2019, for a Celebration of Life Gathering at St. Paul Lutheran Church,  8601 Harrison Ave, Munster, Indiana 46321.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM at the church, immediately following the Gathering.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the family in Betty's honor are preferred. 

Betty was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Munster, Indiana.  She was an avid gardener who also spent many hours fishing at Meadows Park.  When not in her garden or fishing at the park, she enjoyed spending time cooking and crocheting.
