Beverly C. Rolland

Beverly Rolland, 61, of Highland, IN, passed away June 13, 2018.  She is survived by: loving husband David, dear children Jenny (Jeff) Higley, Matt Rolland, Erin Rolland,  beloved grandchildren Jack and Eleanor Higley, dear father Loren Knight, beloved brothers Jeff (Laura) Knight and Tim (Chrislin) Knight many additional nieces and nephews and special life long friend Nina Cuellar-Barry.  She was preceded in death by: daughter Melissa and mother Hannah Knight.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center 8941 Kleinman Rd. (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN, 46322 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  A Funeral Service will be 9:30 am Monday, June 18, 2018 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Rev. Randy Forsythe officiating.  Burial Elmwood Cemetery.  

Bev grew up going to Central Baptist Church in East Chicago, she most recently attended Griffith Baptist Church.  She was a special education teacher in East Chicago for 37 years.  Bev enjoyed wearing big sun hats, dancing, and sweet tea.  She is the reigning rummy queen.  Bev had the biggest heart and the purest spirit which she shared with eveyone she met.  She was the greatest Santa collector of them all.  The flea markets and lakes of "Up North" Wisconsin were her special place.  Her life will live on through those who were touched by her beautiful life.
