Danny L. "Root" Victory

Danny L. "Root" Victory, 69, of Griffith, IN, passed away Monday, March 12, 2018. He is survived by: beloved wife Lydia of 40 years, loving sons Ethan (Samantha) Victory, Benjamin (Amanda) Victory, dear grandchildren Liam, and Carmen Jane Victory. He was preceded in death by: parents Sam and Myrtle Victory, and brother Terry Victory.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center 8941 Kleinman Rd. (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN, 46322 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, with Military Honors to be conducted at 6:00pm.  Cremation to follow.

Danny was retired from Amoco Oil, and NILCO, a member of the American Legion Post 369, veteran of the US Army, and a recipient of a Bronze Star.
