Donna Lynn Josephson

Donna Josephson (Noland, Garcia), 67, of Highland, Indiana, born November 26th, 1952, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends after a ten-year battle with cancer on January 9th, 2020 at 4:30PM.  She grew up in Dolton, Illinois with her brothers and mother, Antionette.  Later, lived in Cleveland, Ohio with her father, David.  She loved her family more than her own life and embodied the Christmas spirit.  Donna was a follower of Christ and strived to be God’s lily.  She was also a dedicated employee of Jewel Foods at various locations for over thirty years.  Donna is survived by a devoted husband, Bob, three children, Matt, Andy and Jamie, and a loving daughter-in-law, Amber.  She is also survived by her three brothers and their wives, David (Sonny) and Brenda, Jim and Jean, and Bob and Jane Noland.  She leaves behind six grandchildren Amber, Tyler, Madison, Aidan, Aaron and Alan, and one great grandchild, Claire.  She also leaves behind two wonderful Pekingese, Pee-Wee and Peanut. 

Donna’s viewing and visitation will be held at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN 46322 on Monday January 13th, 2020 from 3:00PM to 7:00PM.  Friends and family are invited to attend the funeral service at Bethel Church 10202 Broadway Ave. Crown Point, IN 46307 on Tuesday January 14th, 2020 at 10:00AM.  According to her wishes she will be cremated, and her ashes laid to rest with her family. “She is clothed in strength and dignity and laughs without fear of the future” Proverbs 31:25 NLT.
