Eleanor B. Kapitan

Eleanor B. Kapitan, 79, of Highland, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2019.  She is survived by her daughter, Arlene (Ric) Ruiz; a grandson, Ricky; two siblings, Jim (Theresa) Busanic and Judy Penn, and numerous additional loving family members and friends.  Eleanor was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joe Kapitan. 

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Road, Highland, Indiana 46322.  A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 17, 2019 at St. James the Less Catholic Church,  9640 Kennedy Ave, Highland, Indiana 46322; Father Keith Virus, officiating.  Interment, Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, Indiana.

Eleanor was a member of St. James the Less Catholic Church in Highland.
