Franklin "Frankie" Jurgensen

Franklin "Frankie" Jurgensen, 74, of Hammond, IN passed away Tuesday. December 3, 2019.  He is survived by his loving children: Mary (Neal) Rosenholtz, Janet Jurgensen, Claudia Jurgensen, Billy Schuitema, loving grandchildren: Samantha, Alan, Heather, Daniel, Zachary, dear great grandchildren: Ezra, Lillian, beloved siblings: Gene Carmack, Linda Spurlin-Dominik, many additional loving family and friends.  Franklin was preceded in death by his wife Irma, sister Carol, and brother Gerald, parents Charles and Hellen (nee Zuris), foster parents Coy and Jean Spurlin.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Road, Highland, Indiana 46322.  A Celebration of Life Service will follow beginning 12:00 PM, at the funeral home.

Franklin was a member of Living Hope Church.  He was known as Mr. Fix-It, always willing to lend a hand, "Frankie Dankie" to the rescue.
