Horton M. Ellis, age 71, of St. Andrew, Jamaica passed away on Friday, November 29, 2019.

Horton is loved and will be missed by many.

He is survived by his mother, Sylvia. Wife, Claudia. Children: Lance Ellis, Desrene Cuff, Jocelyn Defoe, Tina Ellis, Tiffany Ellis, Tevonne Ellis, Ryan Ellis Bogart, Davina McDonald, Amoya Ellis, and Adeidre Ellis. Brothers and sisters: Devon Ellis, George Ellis, Tony Ellis, Charles Ellis, Sharon Carby, May Williams(Patsy), Doreen Frazier, Mary Williams, Deon Frazier, Roy Dubidat, Caleb Ellis, and Guisman W. This also includes , twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Stanford Ellis, Lynette Ellis, and sister, Novelette Fraizer.

Horton worked for Salinger’s Orchard for 32 years as a foreman. 

Visitation will be Saturday, December 14, 2019, at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center 8941 Kleinman Rd,(one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland IN 46322 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. The funeral service starts at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family are appreciated.
