Jack L Burkholder

Jack L Burkholder age 75, of Gary, Indiana, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2019 at Franciscan Health Centers of Muster with his loving family by his side. Jack was born on July 1, 1944. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Patricia Burkholder and his 4 children, Steven Burkholder (Sharon), Ronald Burkholder (Renee), Leann Rickey (Tyson), and Melinda Estrada; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; Sisters Patricia Johnson and Debra Doppler, and brother, Wayne Burkholder (Sandra). Preceding him in death is his mother, Fren Wyatt, three brothers, and one sister.

Jack was a maintenance mechanic at Huhtamaki for over 40 years. Mostly, he was a devoted and loving husband, dad, grandpa, coach, brother, and friend.  

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Black Oak Baptist Church (6502 W 25th Ave, Gary, IN) from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 pm with Pastor Bob Parnell officiating.
