Jill Christine Kooy

Jill Christine Kooy, age 35, passed away peacefully in her home early Monday morning 9/24/2018. She was born December 8, 1982 to James & Marjorie (Norman) Kooy. Loving granddaughter to John Kooy. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clarence & Harriet Norman and Elizabeth Kooy. She was a beloved sister to Heather, Lisa (Robert Rudy), Elizabeth (Sean Case), & Benjamin. She was loved dearly by her nieces & nephews (Amanda, Jacob, Olivia, Samuel, Shannon, Anneke, Madeline, Evan & Alyssa).

Jill graduated from Munster high school, class of 2001, and went on to complete a Bachelors in Business Administration from St. Petersburg College in December, 2012 and a Masters degree in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University May of 2018.

Jill had a love for her family, including those she spent time with while working at Raymond James, Citi financial, & Northern Trust. She had a beautiful & kind heart and lived without regrets. She fit much into her time and her last days were filled with joy with her family.

Jill will be greatly missed by those whose lives she touched. She will live in our hearts & memories... until we meet again.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center 8941 Kleinman Rd. (one block south of Ridge Rd.) Highland, IN, 46322 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral Service will be Friday, September 28, 2018 at the funeral home beginning at 9:00 am.
