Kenneth Kuiper Obituary

Kenneth D. Kuiper, age 73, passed away on September 3, 2018. He is survived by his children: Joy (Marc) Kats and Ken (Anne) Kuiper, beloved grandchildren: Alaina, Ethan and Tucker Kats, and Maya, Madison and Preston Kuiper; brother, Dan (Jan) Kuiper and sister, Cindy Kuiper, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Helen Kuiper and brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Pat Kuiper. Ken worked many years for DeYoung and Sons’ Furniture/Interiors. He loved music and gardening. But he loved his family most and was the proudest Papa. He had a quiet but steadfast faith. He was a member of Community United Reformed Church. Friends may visit with the family at Hillside Funeral Home on Thursday, September 6 from 3:00-7:00pm. Funeral service will be held at Community United Reformed Church on Friday, September 7 at 10:00am and burial at Oakridge Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Illiana Christian High School or Dutton Christian School.
