Larry E. Carter

Larry E. Carter, 76, of Hammond, IN, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018. He is survived by: beloved wife of 54 years Judy Carter, loving son Larry Lee Carter, devoted daughter Michelle (Kent) Steuart, grandchildren John, Brandon, Jarrett, and Kayla, brothers Paul (Darlene) Carter, David (late Sue) Carter, and Kenny (Kathy) Carter, sisters Ellen (Tim) Burningham, and Dawn Evans, and numerous additional loving family members. He was preceded in death by: sister Donna Cavanaugh.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN, 46322 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral Service will be Friday, February 23, 2018 at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 am. Burial at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Larry attended St. John Boscoe for many years and worked many years at US & Acme Steel. He was a proud papa and loving family man with a great sense of humor. He was a die hard Sox fan.
