Lecia Jean Seaton

Lecia Jean Seaton, 61 of Griffith IN. passed away Sunday, June 9th, 2019. She is survived by loving husband of 42 years Craig Seaton; The favorite grandchild who she spent the last 15 years spoiling, Brayden Michael; Her outspoken daughters, Anna (Michael) Redd and Bobbie (Greg) Myers; The “always” obedient sons, Kedrick (Jessica Roach) Seaton, Timothy (Melissa Alexander) Seaton and the BABY BOY that does NO wrong, Bradly (Timber Clemons) Seaton; Her prize possessions and most valuable assets are the grandkids, mouthy like their mama, Amber and Ashley Redd, Mini me Lillian and Spitfire himself Levi Seaton; She also accepted a few not so red headed step grandbabies, Candy, Zach, Chris and Ziva ; Rascal can finally relax, and Marley already misses his beautician.

She wouldn’t want her sister from a different garden, Deborah and her daddy Gene Nelson to cry over her, but she leaves them here to deal with the crazy clan of sisters Pamela, Betty, Rose, Terrie and Carrie. She rushed to be with her Mother, Marie sooner than we expected and I’m sure her brothers Ricky and Eugene will referee the bickering between her and her sister Mary. They will now get to enjoy the Lisa Dictionary on the “other side” she has taken that with her.

The past few years she enjoyed being a part of a work family at Longfellow Elementary. In between jokes and funny stories and pronouncing the name of her co-workers’ wrong she corralled the children for the teachers.

Please join the family on Friday, June 14, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM as we celebrate her life. The Gathering will be held at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center located at 8941 Kleinman Road, Highland, Indiana 46322. A Funeral Service will be held at 6:30 PM at the funeral home immediately following.  It is BYOF (Bring your own Flowers) and the entry cost is free. Lecia will be the main attraction and we would love to make a few more memories.
