Leonard "Lenny" Aranda

Leonard "Lenny" Aranda, 76, of Griffith, IN passed away Friday, November 1, 2019.  He is survived by his wife of 37 years Rita, sons Shawn (Marcelina) Aranda, Craig (Laura) Aranda, ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and additional loving family and friends.  Leonard was preceded in death by his brothers Rudolph, Ignacio, Robert, Antonio, sisters Anita and Maria.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Road, Highland, Indiana 46322.  A Celebration of Life Service will follow beginning 6:30 PM, at the funeral home.

Leonard retired from Republic Steel after 25 years of service, member of the USWA local 1033, assistant and editor "1033 News and Views" Sec Treasurer local 1033 softball league, past president, board member and volunteer umpire for Black Oak Little League.  Leonard enjoyed bowling and professional sports.
