Louis G. "Bubba" Olar, Jr.

Louis G. "Bubba" Olar, Jr., 46, of Griffith, Indiana, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2019.  He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Katherine (nee Childers); sons, Louis IV, Aiden, and Tyler Olar of Lake Station, Indiana; his mother, Bonnie (nee Krol); sister, Kimberly Olar; niece, Codie Olar; great-niece, Chloe Tucker, and numerous additional cousins, aunts and uncles. Louis "Bubba", was preceded in death by his father, Louie Olar, Sr., in 2014.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Road, Highland, Indiana 46322.  A Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 PM at the funeral home, immediately following visitation.

Louis worked at Meijer in Highland, Indiana, for 20 years until his death, and was a 1992 graduate of Griffith High School.  He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, great-uncle, cousin, and nephew.  Louis was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
