Richard E. Bussie

Richard E. Bussie, 76, of Schererville (formerly of Highland) passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2019. He was born November 7, 1942. He is survived by his wife of five years, Linda. He is survived by his family:, Daughter Deborah (Larry) Kristoff, Sons Walter (Wendy) Minard, Dennis (Betty) Minard, Brian (JoAnn) Minard; Stepson Brian (Angelique Bergeson) Cullen, Stepdaughter Christine (Jim) Egelhof ; Sister Connie (Erno) Restyanszki, Brother Robert (Cathy) Bussie; many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great Grandchild; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceeded in death by wife of 39 years , Norma; Brother David Bussie; Mother Mary and Father Emile Bussie

He was a retired painter from Local 460. He loved his family. He enjoyed working in his garden and sharing his produce. He was a caregiver to many people throughout his life. He enjoyed cooking and making food and cookies for others.

Family and Friends are invited to gather for a memorial service at Immanuel Church of Christ, 2201 Azalea Drive, Highland, Indiana on Saturday, September 28, 2019. Please join the family in visitation from 10:30 am to 11:00 am. With the Celebration of Life beginning at 11:00 am.
