Rickie Lee Wilson, Sr.

Rickie Lee Wilson, Sr., 69, of Lake Station, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2019.  He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Marie; five children, Rickie (Mary Ann) Wilson, Jr., April Weldon, James (Amy) Meeks, Amy (Brad) Underwood, and Ricky Parr; sister, Gail (Spanky) Grucel; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and numerous additional loving family members and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 6, 2019, at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Road, Highland, Indiana 46322. A Celebration of Life Service with Military Honors will be held at 1:00 PM at the funeral home, immediately following visitation. Pastor Bob Parnell, officiating.

Rickie proudly served in Vietnam with the United States Navy and was a Reserve Police Officer in Gary, Indiana for over 20 years.  He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and camping.  Rickie was considered an outspoken person who loved his family with his whole heart.
