Robert E. Schuster

Robert E. Schuster, 84, of Griffith, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2019.  He is survived by his loving wife, Carol, of 41 years; six children, Randy (Sandra) Schuster, Laura (Doug) DeLaughter, Lynda (Randy) Raab, Roger Schuster, Todd (Norine) DuVall, and Rhonda (Jon) Bills; twelve adoring grandchildren and eight great-grand children, and numerous additional loving family and friends.  Robert was preceded in death by his son, Ric Schuster.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Monday, September 2, 2019 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Road, Highland, Indiana 46322.  A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at Griffith Lutheran Church, 1000 N. Broad Street, Griffith, Indiana 46319.  Visitation will be held at the church beginning at 9:30 AM, immediately prior to the Funeral Service.  Interment, Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Crown Point, Indiana.

Robert was a veteran of the United States Army, was a member of Griffith Lutheran Church, and very much enjoyed outdoor sports.  He was a loving husband, father, and Papa. Robert will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
