Roland Saldana

Roland Saldana, 53, of Hammond, passed away on January 6, 2019.  He is survived by his loving brothers and sisters, Jose (Charlotte) Saldana, Eduardo (Isabel) Saldana, Aaron Saldana, Zelma (James) Donelson, and Cynthia (Glover, late husband) Camp.  He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.  Roland was preceded in death by his parents, Eduardo and Minerva Saldana.

Roland was a maintenance worker in the restaurant industry, working at Burger King and Dairy Queen, as well as Dunhill Tuxedo.  He was also a member of Community Baptist Church in St. John.

Roland's family would like to acknowledge the Hospice of the Calumet Area for their loving care they provided both to Roland and his family over the past several weeks.  The family would also like to express their deepest appreciation for the folks at Paladin who provided day services over the past 25 years.  Finally, Roland's caregivers from Health at Home - what can we say - they are wonderful people who provided exemplary support and care to Roland and to us.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Community Baptist Church from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 8651 W. 93rd Ave., St., John, with a funeral service immediately following.  Reverend Bill Marshall, officiating.
