Shane Hicks Obituary

Shane Hicks, 44, of Calumet City, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2019. He is survived by his loving spouse of nine years, Salynda Jimerson-Hicks; four sons, Shane Hicks, Jr., Shalyn Hicks, Tyrone Van Osten, Jr., and Trevell McDonald; four siblings, Tara (Mario) Wade, Aaron (Netta) Neals, Gina Starkes, and Charles (Tiffaine) Neals, and numerous additional loving family members and friends.

Shane was a loving and compassionate person who found tremendous joy in assisting the elderly and children alike. He enjoyed gaming with his children, as well as listening to music around a BBQ while talking about sports and the Bible with the family. Shane will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
