Shirley F. Meyer

Shirley F. Meyer, 94, of Schererville, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2019.  She is survived by her daughter, Mary Meyer; two sons, James (Mary "Sam") & Gary Meyer; one grandchild, Jordan Meyer, and numerous additional loving family members and friends. Shirley was preceded in death by her loving husband, Henry, in 1974, and her siblings, Walter, Elmer, Florence, and Lucille.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday, July 19, 2019, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 8601 Harrison Ave, Munster, Indiana 46321.  A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM at the church, immediately following visitation.  Pastor Peter Speckhard, officiating.  Interment, Concordia Cemetery, Forest Park, Illinois.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Shirley's honor may be made to St. Paul Lutheran School in Munster, Indiana, or Hospice of the Calumet area.  To donate online, simply click the name of the organization of your choice:   St. Paul Lutheran School  or  Hospice of the Calumet Area. 

Shirley was a lifelong faithful servant of Christ.  She loved the Lord, and enjoyed singing hymns of praise.
