Steven Sapp

Steven Sapp, age 37 of Schererville, IN passed away January 1, 2020.  Steven was born August 14, 1982.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Jack and Ginger DeBarge.  He is survived by wife Rachel Haughton and their young son Robert.  He is also survived by his loving parents Dan and Mary Ann.  His sister Linda, fraternal grandparents Bob and Joan, many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Steve was a graduate of Lake Central High School.  Steve had a great love of cooking and had attended the Le Cordon Bleu Cooking School and Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts.  He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. 

Friends and family will be received Saturday, January 4, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 3:45 pm at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd), Highland, IN 46322.  A Memorial Service by Highland Elks Lodge 981 will directly follow at the funeral home. We will all miss Steven Heart of Gold.
