Venessa Wagner Obituary

Venessa Marie Wagner (Hines) of Griffith, IN, passed away July 5th, 2018.  She was born in Hammond, IN on August 6th, 1960. Venessa is survived by: her loving husband Robert P. Wagner and son Joshua Hines (Justine), sister Laveta Wolotka (Tim) and brother Kenneth Hines, grandson Ethan Hines, nephew Jacob Cole (Caitlin) and great-nephew Levi Cole.  She was preceded in death by: parents Kenneth Sr. and Mary Hines.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, gardening, crocheting, vintage cars, enjoying the outdoors and loved her pets. She was an advocate for all animals and was a wildlife rehabilitator for squirrels and other small wildlife and domestic animals.
Words cannot describe the woman Venessa was and the enthusiasm towards life that she embodied. She was family-oriented and was always there to lend support in times of need. She was a loving wife, selfless mother and Nana, and the worlds best sister. She will be forever missed by those lives whom she touched.

Funeral arrangements will be private per her wishes. If you wish to contribute in her name, please contribute to the Humane Society or other domestic/wildlife organization.
