William H. Habel, age 37, of Highland, IN,  passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2019.

Bill is so loved and will be missed by many.

He is survived by his wife, Colleen, nee Greenfield, children Liam, Julia and Charlotte. Parents Howard and Karen Habel, brother Dan (Lauren) Habel, nephew Peter Habel.  Parents-in-law John and Geralyn Greenfield, brothers-in-law Jack (Erin) Greenfield, nephew Colin Greenfield,  Joe Greenfield and Dan Greenfield. Aunts and Uncles, Russ and Darlene Habel, Barbara Habel, Joyce and Jerry Staniszewski, Donna and Bob Habel, Mary Ann and Harvey Hase, and Tom Gillespie. Cousins Elaine (Bob) Caposieno, Bob (Jennifer) Habel, Jim (Sara) Stansizewski, Jenna (Pat) O’Callaghan, Jillian (Jon) Hofferica, Jessica Hase (Matt Denton) Brad (Katie) Habel, Wes (Krista) Gillespie, Hilary (CJ) Crotty, Tyler, Shianne, Peyton and Brielle Gillespie. Grandson of Ethel Habel and the late LeRoy and Geraldine Habel and Thomas and Elaine Gillespie.

Bill was a proud member of Local 17, Heat & Frost Insulators and Highland Pop Warner Football and Cheer. 

Visitation will be Monday, December 2, 2019 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center 8941 Kleinman Rd,(one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland IN 46322 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at St. James the Less, 9640 Kennedy Ave, HIghland, IN. There will be Visitation at church starting at 9:40 a.m. prior to Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family appreciated.
