Abel King

Crown Point, Indiana -  Abel King, age 91, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021. Abel is survived by his loving wife Cella King; son Larry (Pam) King; son Rick King; daughter Donna (Will) McGaha; daughter Debbie; stepdaughter Tammy (Eric) Bobey; stepdaughter Gidget (Mike) Anderson; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Abel was a man of god and was loved by his family and all who met him. He never missed a chance to say grace at family gatherings and always had a warm greeting for family and friends. Abel never had a judgmental word to say about anyone but you might catch him rolling his eyes occasionally; mostly up, as if asking god, “can you believe this one”!  Abel and Cella loved to travel and the two of them would sneak away for adventure as often as possible.
Abel will be missed by all who knew him!

Visitation will be held at the Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Road (one block south of Ridge Road), Highland, IN, 46322 on Monday, October 11, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm with service at 5:00 pm.

Pastor Jack Virgin will be speaking and his daughter Teresa will be singing gospel songs.
