Adam Richard Williams

Adam R. Williams, age 59 of Gary, IN, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 29, 2025.

He was a loving father, brother, uncle and friend, and is survived by his two sons, Brandon Smiedzinski and Brent Williams; stepfather, George Krug; sisters, Tina (Andy) Adams, Susan (Michael) Channlle, Magon Williams and Anna Williams; many
nieces and nephews, and a lifetime of loving friends.

Adam is preceded in death by his father, Raymond J. Williams and his mother, Donna M. Krug.

Adam was born on July 10, 1965 in Hammond, IN and was a graduate of Griffith High School, Class of 1983. Adam had many joys in life, from his pet snakes, to baseball, to dogs and drums. As a child, he was a little league pitcher, then grew up to be a business owner and entrepreneur, owning multiple businesses over the years, including the two he was best known for... Adam’s Carpet Cleaning and Adam Enterprises. When Adam wasn’t working, he enjoyed playing the drums, boating, celebrations with family and friends, and sharing his faith in God. If you asked him how he was doing, his answer would always be “I’ve been blessed my whole life.”

A Celebration of Adam’s life will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 beginning with a Gathering of friends at 3pm followed by a Memorial Service at 4pm at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN.
