Allen A. Slawikowski, 44, passed away on April 11, 2026. He was a dedicated diesel mechanic who took great pride in his work and had a deep passion for cars. Allen was known for his strong work ethic, mechanical skill, and the ability to fix just about anything that came his way.
Outside of work, Allen loved country music and spending time around the things he enjoyed most. He will be remembered for his resilience, his sense of humor, and the love he had for his family.
Allen is survived by his son, Anthony Slawikowski; daughter, Ataya Slawikowski; father, Allen Slawikowski; sister, Jessica (Wes) Burnett; granddaughter, Lyionna Slawikowski; nieces, Anastasia Burnett and Bella Burnett; nephew, Dale Burnett; and his grandmother, George Ann Austin, and many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ramona Slawikowski.
Allen will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on through those who loved him.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026 from 5-7pm at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center 8941 Kleinman Road (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN.
In leu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to help with funeral expenses, would be greatly appreciated.
