Alvera M. Joyce, 79, of Hammond, Indiana, went peacefully into the arms of the Lord on Monday, February 9, 2026. She retired from the Lake County Government Center after many years of service on January 2, 2026.
Services for Ms. Joyce will be held at New Community Baptist Church, 707 169th St, Hammond, IN 46324 on Saturday, February 21, 2026. Visitation will be from 9:00am - 11:00am with the funeral service to follow promptly at 11:00am.
