She is survived by her beloved husband, Dennis Ogden; sons, Charles "Curt" Stooksbury, Jeff (Cecilia) Stooksbury, Gregory "Greg" Stooksbury, and Mark (Donna) Stooksbury; grandsons, Clint (Shawna) Stooksbury, Mike (Charlotte) Hernandez, Angel (Jenny) Hernandez, Jeffrey (Stephanie) Stooksbury, Gregory (Lisa) Stooksbury, Matthew Stooksbury, and Bradley Stooksbury; granddaughters, Celia (Kavon) Karimi, Felicia Baker, and Caitlin Stooksbury; stepsons, Michael Ogden, and Allen (Erica) Ogden; stepdaughters, Michelle (Jesse) Rynders, Wynda (Al) Evon, Susan (Todd) Cosenza, and Cricket (Norbert) Estrada; step-grandsons, Isaiah Rynders, Collin Cosenza, and Jessie Estrada; step-granddaughters, Alexis Rynders, Kate (Sean) Rock, Natalie (Felipe) Valentin, Emily, Amanda and Victoria Evon, Laila, Calla and Neila Ogden, Camille Cosenza, and Alice Estrada; 16 great- grandchildren; sister, Mae (Chuck) Copper; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, William Evan and Mandy Jones; brothers, James Leroy, Walter Obert, John, Bill, and Homer Lee Jones; sister, Alice Owens; stepson, Joshua Ogden; and grandson, Robert Baker.

After marrying her first husband in the evening of the day of her high school graduation, she conceived and bore 4 sons, all still living. She was a faithful Christian, wife, and mother, nurturing each of her sons and a grandson with love, compassion, and discipline, and at the same time serving the Lord in her local church.
A second marriage for her gave her the last name "Hearns," which she has carried to her home-going. During this period of her life she transitioned from working hard at home to working hard outside of the home, in order to help make the financial ends meet! In addition to working for income, she also worked in her own home, providing care for her mother for several years. When her husband, Willie, died, they were really not in a good position, financially.
Throughout the 12 years of her widowhood, she continued working hard, generally working more than full-time, in order to clear herself from debt. She was truly a good, God-fearing, hard-working lady! Hers was a self-disciplined, but hard, life.
During this time of her life, she married again, for a third and final time. She chose and dearly loved Dennis Ogden, committing herself to him in August of 2011. She had become a professional care-giver prior to their marriage, and quit working outside the home in September, 2014, at the age of 76.

She, like all of us, was guilty of committing sins for which she subsequently regretted; but she was also keenly aware of God's Amazing Grace, as God expresses to us in 1st John 1:8-10. She knew that because of His forgiveness and cleansing, that she could move on in her Christian life. She could say as the apostle Paul wrote in Philippians 3:13-14, "Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."

In the end, she only wanted to live her discrete life, simply. She would do anything she could for anybody. She loved everyone. Although there might be some she did not like, she always showed them proper respect. And she was very reluctant to pass judgement on others.

If you had a close relationship with her, and you took the time to come to her side and brighten even one day of the last 6 months of her life, she would be honored with your visit again as we celebrate her passing into Glory.
