Anthony Iacobucci Obituary

Anthony Michael Iacobucci, Sr, 49, of Cedar Lake, Indiana, passed away suddenly on September 4, 2020 after a long battle with excruciating back pain, COPD, and emphysema. Anthony spent his life as a devoted husband of 30 years and a wonderful father. He and his wife, Angela, had a true love affair for the last 30 years and were inseparable since the moment they met in 1990. In 1994, Anthony worked his way to lieutenant in the Sun Chemical Fire Brigade. He was very proud of his Incident Command, Confined Space, and HazMat talents. Additionally, Anthony was exceptionally intelligent and became a master carpenter. He was an avid gardener and a lover of animals, especially dogs. His enjoyment in life came from spending time with his family, watching baseball, and teaching his son. Anthony was a heavy supporter of his wife, willing to move from state to state to allow her to pursue her dreams. Truly unselfish in many ways, he really was the wind beneath her wings. Anthony always attributed his greatest achievement in life as his opportunity to be a father. The birth of his only son was, by far, the happiest moment of his life. He will truly be missed and every single memory cherished. Anthony is survived by his wife, Angela Iacobucci, and his son, Anthony Michael Iacobucci II. He was preceded in death by his father Carmine Iacobucci. A celebration of life will be held privately by his family.
