Anthony Z. Kiszenia

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Anthony Kiszenia. A loving husband, devoted father and beloved “dzia dzia”. He passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025. Born in Germany and known for his hard work and dedication to his family. As a proud US Army Veteran he shared countless stories of his time in Europe and how he swept his bride off her feet when he returned home. He retired from Inland steel after thirty-eight years of service. He enjoyed his summers in New Buffalo, Michigan with wife Zenia and three sons Christopher (Rachel), Andrew (Melissa), and Joseph (Rachel).

His legacy lives on through his grand children of Nicole, Matthew, Kristen, Andrew, Harrison and Landon Kiszenia. He is preceded in death by brothers Klemens and Richard Kiszenia and father John and mother Olga Kiszenia.  He is survived by brother Roman (Lucy) and niece and nephews Shannon, Shane, Eric and Alex.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Carmelite Fathers, 1628 Ridge Rd, Munster, IN, 46321 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am all DIRECTLY at the church. Burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN.
