Arlene F. (Prasnikar) Glick

Arlene F. Glick (nee Prasnikar) age 86 went to be with the Lord surrounded by family on Tuesday, March 25, 2025.

She is survived by her dear husband of 61 years, George; her son, daughter and their spouses; three grandsons; three sisters, and many nieces and nephews, all cherished by her. Arlene was preceded in death by her beloved parents Frank and Ann, her adored sister Margaret, and her three dear brothers-in-law, Richard, Marvin, and Harold.

Arlene loved her savior Jesus Christ above all else. She was an active member of Ross Church for many years and served countless children as their Sunday School teacher, planting the seeds of faith. She treasured her family and prioritized their happiness. Arlene loved her country and for several years hosted amazing family reunions on the Fourth of July, decorating, cooking, planning games, and making sure everyone in attendance had the necessary attire for the celebration, an American flag T-shirt. As well, she was a talented seamstress and worked in retail for many years in sewing and fabric departments where she loved helping others with their creative projects. In too many ways to list, she touched the lives of many, creating beautiful memories for those grieving her loss. Arlene left the lives of others better through her love, care, and humor. She is now at peace in Heaven and will be forever loved and dearly missed.

Visitation will be Friday, March 28, 2025 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN, 46322 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Funeral Service will be Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
