Arthur G. Krieger, age 75 of Cedar Lake, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on December 31, 2021. He is survived by his wife Debra (Bruns) Krieger, his daughter Jodie (Matt) Sczurko of Lowell; son Erich (Dolores) Krieger of Hobart; daughter Heidi (Nate) Staley of Merrillville; brother Kurt (Denise) Krieger of Mt. Washington, KY; granddaughters Alexis Rohweder and Kherington Staley; grandsons Hunter Rohweder and Callen Staley; niece Hannah (David) Dargan of Maumee, OH and nephew Noah Krieger of Mt Washington, KY.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Margarethe (Schaden) Krieger and Robert Krieger.
Visitation will be Friday, January 7, 2022 at Lake Hills Baptist Church, 9209 W 85th Ave, Schererville, IN 46375 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Lake Hills Baptist Church beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery. Masks encouraged, but not required.

Art was born in Wels, Austria and migrated to the United States when he was 10 years old. He was employed as a Professional Photographer for over 50 years, He was a loving and supportive husband for 49 years. He was a wonderful loving father who self sacrificed to provide above and beyond for his family.
Art was a member of Lake Hills Baptist church for 33 years, was involved in Court Side Ministry, an active member of the Gideons, an Awana leader, and a faithful supporter of Scioto Hills Camp Ministry.
Art had a servant's heart for people and a deep love for the Lord. This love gave him a passion for the souls of others, and he left an impact on everyone he met. He brought joy and encouragement to all. His laughter was contagious and his smile infectious.
He was a genuine man with amazing integrity, a man of his word. His sense of humor, compassion, and love for others will be remembered for generations.
