With our deepest depths of love and grief, we cherish the memories of Arturo Angel Lizardi. Arturo was born on May 19, 1996, in Evergreen Park, IL and was 28 at the time of his passing on May 14th, 2025, less than a week away from his 29th birthday. He was surrounded by his loving family in his final moments.
Arturo is survived by his beloved mother and father; four brothers: Carlos, Bryan, Victor, and Aaron Lizardi; and his son, Jaxon Lizardi.
Arturo spent most of his upbringing in Black Oak, Indiana, where he became a significant figure in the community and lives of many. Although he faced many obstacles in his life, Arturo made the most out of any situation and overcame adversity with confidence and determination.
Since adolescence, Arturo spent most of his time working with his hands, which included cooking meals to enjoy with his family, dissecting project cars, as well as simply being able to fix anything he set his mind to.
Arturo was a great storyteller and understood how to make the best of any circumstance or situation he was in. He remained kind, always gave what he could to others, and was always willing to step up to a challenge. We treasure him as we go forward with our lives with him as our guiding light. May his everlasting presence continue to bless us with his wise words, radiant personality, and heartfelt kindness.
