Barbara (Barton) Franchetti, age 89, of Munster, IN passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023. She is survived by sons Tom(Terri) and Bob (Susan); Grandchildren Jessica (Chris) Dana, Kevin, Nick (Whitney) and Great-Grandchildren Aiden, Ethan, Dante and Stella. She was preceded in death by parents Walter and Magdalena; husband Nicholas; sister Phyllis and son Michael.

Barbara was a principled, caring and generous person. She worked for many years at Park Manor Coffee in her hometown of Riverdale, IL and at South Holland Bank and Trust. She also volunteered for many years at St. Francis Hospital in Blue Island, IL. She enjoyed traveling with Nicholas and her many friends. She loved spending time at the family home in Michigan and winters in Florida. She was loved and will be missed.
