Barbara Jean Gant, age 81 of Merrillville, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021. She is survived by her loving daughter Kellie Gant, cherished grandmother of five,and four great grandchildren, beloved mother Elnora Harris, dear siblings Robert (Mary) Harris, Rhonda (Ben) Thompson, numerous additional loving family and friends. Barbara was preceded in death by her father Robert Harris Sr., daughter Gayle Williams, and brother William Harris.

Due to the pandemic there are no services scheduled at this time.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to Hospice of the Calumet Area, and the University of Chicago Oncology team for their attentive care.
