Bennie Ruth Frazier

Bennie Ruth Frazier, 80, of Hammond, IN peacefully passed away Monday December 15, 2025

Bennie was born in Canton, Mississippi on April 10, 1945. The family relocated to Northwest Indiana when she was 14, where she spent the rest of her years in Northwest Indiana.

Bennie is survived by 1 brother Willie Mannie, her 5 children Larry Henderson, Timothy Frazier, Tammy Frazier, David Scott (Michelle) Jackson, Eric Humphrey, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Bennie was preceded in death by her mother Mattie Mae Jones and several other family members and friends.

Bennie was a loving daughter, and sister, as well as a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend. She loved creating a space for others to gather and have a good time. Bennie enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and other games that would create memories and laughter. Her smile and laugh were always front and center in the crowd. Whatever her family was doing she was always everyone's "Biggest Fan!"

Memorial Gathering will be held Sunday December 21, 2025 from 12:00pm to 1:00 pm at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, Indiana 46322
