Bertha Rose Eubanks peacefully exited her earthly home to enter her heavenly home and re-join her soulmate on June 3, 2022.
Bertha was born in Pryor, Oklahoma to Delpha Opal Bitting (Rogers) and Bill Bitting. Bertha attended various schools in various states and moved to Maryland where she met and married the love of her life, Warren George Eubanks.
Bertha and Warren moved to Highland, Indiana where they raised their two children, Linda of Highland and Rusty (Sarah) of Tecumseh, Michigan.
Throughout her life, Bertha was involved in many social activities including; the start of Highland Hurricanes swim club, square dancing with the Buttons and Bows, clogging with Ain’t No Mountain Cloggers, camping with her family and friends, bowling at Plaza Lanes, and of course, cheering on her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren in any/all of their athletic endeavors.
Bertha was preceded in death by her parents Delpha and Bill Bitting, brother Irvin (Doris) Lepoe Bitting, and her devoted husband Warren.
Bertha is survived by her sister Zona (Bill) Pippin, her sister Billie (Lenny) Gouffer, her daughter Linda Harvey, her son Rusty (Sarah) Eubanks, her grandchildren Sarah (Randy) Kubaszak, Mary (Anthony) Neering, Andrew Eubanks, Alden Eubanks, Jacob (Emily) Harvey, and Alison Eubanks, and her great-grandchildren Addison Kubaszak, Anna Kubaszak, Brett Neering, and Brea Neering.
A Celebration of Life will take place in Bertha’s backyard on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 1:00pm. Please contact Linda Harvey at (219)669-8177 for details including the address.
