Betty Huitsing

Betty Huitsing, age 85, of Highland, IN, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 28, 2022.  She is survived by her four children: James and his wife Debra, Judy Woods, Melvin, and David and his wife Suzanne. Betty is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren as well as her brother and sister-in-law, John and Donna Jonkman.  Preceding Betty in death was her beloved husband Calvin and son-in-law, Francis Woods.

Betty spent most of her life at home caring for her family.  She also was a joyful volunteer at her children's schools, Highland Christian and Illiana Christian High.  Most recently she found fulfillment volunteering at Bibles for Missions Thrift Center in Highland.
Betty was a long time member of Faith Church in Highland where she attended Bible Study.

Visitation will be held at Hillside Funeral Home in Highland on Monday, October 3, 2022 from 1-3 pm. with interment following at Hope Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Highland Christian School.
