Betty Lazur Obituary

Betty Lazur, 91, of Merrillville, IN passed away Saturday, January 2, 2020. She is survived by her loving children: Linda VanGorp, Cynthia Vollmer, Sharon (Stevan Magdaz) Lazur, Susan (Michael) Spolarich, Sandra (Robert Hisson) Lazur, twelve beloved grandchildren, 21 beloved great-grandchildren, dear sister Eleanor Slavin, numerous additional loving family and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband George, beloved daughter Carol Linowski, and dear grandson Jorge Clayburn.

Psalm 34: I sought the Lord, and he answered me;
he delivered me from all my fears.

Taste and see that the Lord is good;
blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.

I want to keep remembering God's promises for me and those I love.

Due to COVID-19 no services are scheduled.

Betty was a past member of Our Lady of Grace Church, Highland, IN, and was a longtime employee at Lamprecht's Florist, Highland, IN.
