Betty Lou (Flynn) White

Betty Lou White (Nee Flynn), (Formerly Wright) aged 87, of Valparaiso, IN passed away Thursday January 20, 2022.  

She is survived by her Sister in Law, Judith McLaughlin, Nephew Todd, Nieces Angela, Vicki, & Karri.  Sister in law Fawn Widelski, Nephew Damon.   Her son Jerald D, Wright Jr. (Janet), grandsons Matthew, Joshua, Jerimiah, (Claudia), great grandson Leonardo, great granddaughter Jasmine. Adopted son Chris Petit (Michelle), great grandsons Cutter, Steeler, Runner.   Daughter Lynne M. Kohn (nee Wright-Perigo), (Jeffrey). Granddaughter Sarah Kahn (nee Norwood), (Joshua).  Great granddaughter Hanna, great grandson Jacob, great granddaughters Madelyn, Isabelle, Emily.   Grandson Jonathan Perigo.  Step grandson Daniel Kohn (Elanee), step-great granddaughters Zoey, and Isla, step-great grandson Elijah.  Daughter Nancy Langel (nee Wright),  (Bill);  grandson William, granddaughter Michelle Usher (nee Langel); (Justin), Great granddaughter Sydney, great grandson Jordy.  Daughter Virginia (Jenny) Wright. Plus many cousins, Nieces, nephews, and family.

Betty worked for Junior Toy, Goldblatts, Queen Anne, Ball Glass, and Happy Days Early learning center as a teacher.  She attended classes at Purdue NW University, and Indiana Vocational College.  Betty belonged to the Wrong Way Squares square dance group,  Just us and friends line dancing, and the Banta Center in Valparaiso, Indiana.  
Preceeding her in death was her husband Seth C. White Sr,. and first husband Jerald D. Wright Sr., Parents William Flynn & Lillie Victoria (nee Bennett).  Brothers Louis, Richard, Pearl, Leo, Jack, Sam, and John.  Sister Linda Evans (nee Flynn). Son in law David M. Perigo., twin grandsons Joseph, and Joshua Wright.  

She has always loved gardening, dancing, drawing, and fiber arts.  Her zest for life, commitment to her faith in God, and a great love for her family, and friends endeared her to all.  She will be greatly missed! 

Visitation will be held at the Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center 8941 Kleinman Road, Highland, Indiana  46322 Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 09:00 am 10:00 am, with the funeral service following immediately at 10:00 am in the sanctuary.  Pastor Joshua E. Kahn Officiating.  Interment at Fair Cemetery  69520 Pine Road North Liberty, Indiana 46554
